Another great steamed soup dumplings place on the Mingshen E road, juice and flavourful broth in every bun. Their chicken soup is a must order too, delicious.
MoreThe taste could be stronger.
This place is a great find for a quick bite - you get what you pay for. A very nice staff, and perhaps a good way for foreigners to ease their way into some Chinese cuisine. Seems like a local lunch favorite. Tip: the tea is self serve and sauces are in the drawer below the tables.
MoreUnique and rich taste xiaolingbao. Also famous for zongzi (chimaki). Beef soup noodle is also good. Other dishes are maybe ok (not special) such as Paigu (pork chop) or noodle without noodle. You can go here just before you fly since it is near Songshan Airport.
MoreFood was decent. Very small hole in the wall place. Good for a quick bite but not a place for chit chatting.
MoreGood Shanghainese food at a reasonable price. I came to eat Xiaolongbao and had a bowl of their dry beef noodle. Very delicious overall and friendly staff serving you. The appetizers were just ok, I was hoping they tasted like traditional Shanghainese too.
MoreGood sesame bread and BoazBut way too expensive with the average meat
Wow. Brought back memories of my visit to Taipei year ago. We stopped in after my meeting, and the food was just as good as a few years ago. The soup dumplings were excellent as was the sticky rice. However as one poster had noted, the food here isn’t quite DTF quality. Though, it doesn’t taste average either. Hope to be back again in the not too distant future.
MoreUnexpected good. Soup in ciao long Lao has a strong scent of ginger which I love it!
MoreA neighborhood restaurant, serving Shanghai styled dumplings and noodles. The pork dumplings had good flavor and juicy, but they set on the steamer too long and deflated. The vegetables dumplings were kind of dry, a bit hard to taste any flavors. The chicken soup was so so. The bean curd vermicelli soup was kind of blend. The two small dishes were also so so. The prices were reasonable, okay CP!
MoreGreat lunch spot close to work. very quick and friendly service. Food is very fresh and not very expensive.
MoreSuper awesome delicious
Love their siao long baos. A little pricey but worth it.
Not so exciting fo me but fresh materials
The soap taste like boil o
We just love it! Excellent quality of food. All the foods we ordered be served hot. Friendly and kind staffs. We went there for dinner. There are many customers yet no queue.
MoreI liked their Xiaolongbao, although they were more expensive than other places of equal quality. I didn’t like the dumplings as much though.
MoreThe food is good and I was amazed by deep fried port filet and the tea! With the tea, I ate more than what I usually have.
MoreAn amazing and simple stop for dumplings! The small plate vegetable appetizers are a wonderful start. And the sesame bun desserts are a wonderful way to end the meal. Pork options for the dumplings are delicious. The vegetable dumplings have renewed my faith in the flavors of and potential for vegetables as a whole.
